🄵 Chicken burgers made me date my ex for 3 more months

I don't regret it. They kept the spark alive.

My apologies for saying this but HAPPY FRIYAY (praise the powers that be šŸ)! Well done on making it through another week šŸŽ‰ šŸŽ‰ šŸŽ‰.

As I’m writing this to the sound of a very annoying cricket chirping in the middle of the day, I’m thinking of what to manifest during this eclipse season. Our witch-in-residence, Hameda, will say it’s about ā€œletting goā€ but, I kind of enjoy seeing how long I can hold onto things. Let’s call it free will darling. It is what is, whatever happens happens… or whatever the saying is. What are you releasing into the universe?

For me, it’s today’s newsletter. I’m letting her go from my laptop straight into your inbox. Thanks so much for taking care of it.

In your pre-weekend stash we’ve got travel hacks, one last chance to see a secret YouTube video before everyone else and an Overheard rumour about Aussies. But my favourite pick of all? A Love Note from the Melbourne Grand Prix which I’m thinking of making into a book named: My Heart Goes Vroom. It’s a work in progress. In stores from February 31, 2026.

Enjoy your weekend!

Q: Which TV network did Neighbours originally air on, before moving to Network 10?

I don’t really believe in love at first sight but gorgeous, you caught me off-guard. You walked past yesterday, wearing the same racing jacket as me, in this sh*tty Melbs weather. Won’t lie to you, that was probably a sign from the universe that I should’ve just shot my shot but I chickened out. Those eyes and that little smirk. Wow.

I’m here for the GP all weekend, you probably won’t get this but I’ll at the bar near where we walked by each other as much as I can be. If you’re brave enough, tell me Lando’s going to lose. I’ll know it’s you. I’m going back home on Tuesday so, don’t leave it too late.

ā€œThat’s the reason I stayed with my ex for three months longer than I should’ve. She lived near Fat Fish and I f*cking love their chicken burgers. I don’t regret it.ā€ Well played sir, I would’ve done the same.
