Happy Tuesday friends! Isn’t it eggs-citing that Easter is just around the corner 🐣🍫?

First things first: who says Aussie food isn’t a thing 🙄? Has the world forgotten we’ve given them Vegemite on toast for eggs-ample? Speaking of different kinds of breeds, relating to a ringtail possum named “Mr Sparkles” was not on my 2025 bingo card — but here we are 🥰. You'll see what I mean when you read this week's Overheard submission. It's uneggs-pected.

Overheard an older man at our vet talking to one of the nurses. He was carrying a small crate which I assumed was his pet cat, but when he opened it up, a ringtail possum popped out! Turns out “Mr. Sparkles” ate too many treats and is now bloated. Well, Mr. Sparkles looked 0% guilty and 100% ready for another round. What an icon TBH.
