Hello my fellow gremlins, it’s Livia here — the newest child in the meme-loving BuzzFeedOz fam! 💁🏻‍♀️ Excited to bring you the latest buzz for when you get bored at school and work (to my bosses reading this, this does not apply to me at all and I love my job very much and it’s very fun <3<3).

I was having brunch with one of my besties last weekend. The place was packed so we were seated right next to what sounded like another pair of girl besties having brunch. As my friend and I were eating, we started hearing bits and pieces of the convo next to us and we were GAGGED. The girls next to us were talking about one of the girls’ brother and his new girlfriend. They met through some dating app and he introduced her to his family a month into dating. The parents immediately got weird vibes. The girl sitting next to us said she was kinda reserved and didn’t really tell the fam much about herself, even when they asked her direct questions. Anyways, fast forward to 2 months later, her brother and his GF already moved in together. He came home one day from work and their apartment was basically EMPTY 😱 Not only was all his stuff gone, all of his valuables including expensive clothing and watches, cash, bank cards and ID etc. were all missing. She blocked his social media and basically disappeared into thin air. Oop be careful out there folks!!

First day of uni this year, I was sitting in the back of our 9am Chem lecture taking notes and trying not to fall asleep. I noticed you in the corner of my eye, a few rows in front of me, staring in my direction. I stared back at you and we made eye contact, but you immediately turned away. This little game of stolen glances has been going on for weeks now, and you’re making me impatient 😭 So, pretty eyes, alas, I must admit defeat in this staring match. Now please just do us both a favour and ask me out already!
