Can you believe it’s already the last week of autumn? Still waiting for all this rain to let up. Speaking of: Sydney-siders, I hope your trains are back on track!

Our very own dynamic duo, Mark and Tanika, are back — they had to brave the wet and cold night so they could spill all the tea on this year’s food. In other news, as a former nerd, I was so pumped for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 last week! We were invited to interview celebs on the orange carpet and had to find out who their biggest anime crushes were. Let’s just say Damiano David’s answer isn’t leaving anyone shook 👅. Me personally? Call me Sakura, ‘cause I too would happily simp for Sasuke from Naruto. I mean…who doesn’t love a mysterious, morally grey bad boy 👉 👈?

We were on the way to the city during last week’s train delays and cancellations, when we heard the the train announcer go “Next stop Ashfield! Oop sorry, next stop Museum!” Thinking of all the Sydney trains staff going through it right now, but I love it when they get quirky or make little mistakes that show they’re humans and not AI.

Overheard at Town Hall Station, 5.48pm, some poor girl was crying ‘cause she lost her Labubu! Apparently, it likely slipped off in the rush but she thinks there's a small chance her coworker (?) purposely stole it. I didn't get much detail because it was through some very loud sobs, but her boyfriend stayed calm and kept her comforted, so I'm a little jealous. Anyway! Just found a random Labubu on the ground, and in the exact colour I wanted too!
